There’s a Windows device to suit everyone
Every age, every subject and every learning style.

Tablet
Tablets have no physical keyboard and so are best for viewing content, using apps & playing games. Their smaller, lighter form factor means they are often used by very young students. Tablets are also a great ancillary device for older students who want to read content, conduct simple web research & play games on the move.

Laptop
Laptops or Notebooks range from the ultra-lightweight devices to powerful rugged devices to suit the toughest of school environments. Powerful laptops can run the more demanding educational programs & are good for students who want to write code, edit videos & create games, as well as manage their schoolwork in a
single device.

Laptop with Touch
Laptops with a touch screen as well as the keyboard are very versatile, making them ideal for diverse student learning styles and tasks. With plenty of power for running full programs and a touch screen for visualisation and kinaesthetic learning, they are great for multimedia and visual arts students. Some laptops have the option for a pen, increasing the potential of the device further.

2-in-1 with touch and digital pen
2-in-1 devices are laptops where you can remove the keyboard, making them a great investment for school. With the addition of a digital pen, students can take handwritten notes, spontaneously capture & sketch out brainstorm ideas, write mathematically & input character based writing such as Chinese. The flexibility of this style of device gives students the option to study whilst lying on the floor or even in bed.

Students love using Minecraft because it givesthem more ownership of their learning – they can design ‘their’ world in a way that makes sense to them and they are often eager to share what they have done with their peers.”

Minecraft: Education Edition
Minecraft: Education Edition is a version of the popular open world game, Minecraft, specifically designed for education. It contains features that make Minecraft more accessible and effective in a classroom setting including:
Easy classroom collaboration
Educators have told us that one of the greatest benefits of Minecraft: Education Edition is the ability for students to collaborate together to build projects and solve problems.
Non-player characters
An educator may create an NPC (Non-Player Character) to act as a guide for students in the game, giving instruction, providing more information, and also allowing educators to insert an active web link to additional references.
Camera + portfolio
An important aspect of teaching with Minecraft: Education Edition is being able to collect evidence of learning in the game, and being able to track student progression. The camera and portfolio features allows students to take screenshots of their work and document the development of their projects.
Chalkboards
Creators can use chalkboards to communicate learning goals, provide
additional information and give explicit instructions within the game
Simple, secure sign-in
Individual student and teacher logins with Office 365 Education accounts
